Why not Ethics ?
We have been repeatedly advised to avoid questions on ethics as much as possible in our presentations. I will simply like to know from anyone who has answers (particularly TOK teachers) what exactly we have not been equipped with in order to efffectively tackle these questions.

I can understand why tackling questions on ethics would be discouraged for the main reason that based on our upbringing (and possible indoctrination) for or against certain notions and our consequent perceptions of wrong and right (and whatever else that is neither), our ability to successfully detach ourselves from our preconceived notions and hence discuss this area knowledge (and whatever context it may relate to) in an objective and probing light may be clouded. There lies the possibility that we may end up talking more about what is right and wrong in an issue rather than critically assessing the issue and area of knowledge in totality and in an unbiased fashion. There’s probably more to this stance, I know not.
